Summer Training Program
STP is a great opportunity to slow things down and get kids to focus on the fundamentals of stickhandling, passing and shooting. We will need lots of coaches to give kids attention so they can focus on the details of these skills
Why Dryland Training is Important:
- Quickly develop hockey skills
- Improve shooting and passing techniques
- Conditions your body
- Develop muscle memory
- Drills you can do at home
- Gain strength in all parts of your body
Ages
Any registered MCYH player from the previous season that will be a Mite or Squirt/ U10 in the 2023-2024 season.
When
The 2023 program is on Mondays from March 27 through May 1, 5:30-6:30.
Where
Dryland is held at Marathon County Park in the Dryland Facility.
COST
The cost is $25.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a bathroom at Dryland?
There is not a bathroom in the dryland building. Please make sure your child uses the restroom before coming to STP.
What Should the Skater Wear?
For Dryland please have the skater wear workout clothing. The facility is not temperature controlled.
What do we need for equipment?
You need your helmet, gloves, and stick for Dryland. If your child was a mini mite in 2022-2023 season, gloves and helmets is available to borrow.
