If you turn 12 before November 1, 2026 you are eligible to officiate during the 2026-2027 season. You must register with USA Hockey and WHOA at wihoa.org & complete all requirements before you can begin officiating.

Mosinee Youth Hockey is hosting a Free Hockey Referee Clinic at the Mosinee Rec Center and youth referees to attend!
No registration is required - just show up!
Event Details
- What: Free Hockey Referee Clinic
- When: Thursday, October 15, 2026 | 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM (Classroom session first, followed by on-ice instruction)
- Where: Mosinee Rec Center
- Who: Anyone interested in officiating (Must turn 12 before November 1st)
- What to Bring: Skates, helmet, and whistle

Note on Official Certification:
While this clinic is free and open to all, attendees who want to referee official games this season must complete registration with USA Hockey and the Wisconsin Hockey Officials Association (WHOA).
